Don’t be look off from the name. It is previously a place selling nice sandwich but eventually it turns into a thai eatery which won lots of good comments from its customer. If you like fresh local food, latte macchiato serving by friendly staff, here’s the right place for you.
Ollie, the owner and also chef of this little quaint place cooking all the delicious dishes right before your eyes for a very compatible price. Everything is fresh from the market. The audience is still quite young and internationally and most of them are regulars; go once and addictive.
Highly recommend the crispy papaya salad and pineapple fried rice as both are the best seller on top of all dishes. The crispy papaya salad is apparently different from other papaya salads. It is similar to a deep fried vegetable tempura, but with a delicious papaya flavour. You’ll have to try it.
Not to miss the other thumbs up selection – crispy sweet sour sea bass. It is more of a Chinese influenced dish with a slightly spicy vinegar/sugar based sauce (but not the reddish sweet and sour sauce) with a nicely crisped fish.
The little restaurant is located just beside the main road, so, do adapt yourself to the little noisy environment for a nice dinner here. Besides, this place isn’t about getting your food out in 5 minutes but about serving great tasting food. You may have to wait a while for your meal to be prepared. So, sit back and enjoy a drink!
