The trip to Chiang Mai is incomplete if you never pay a visit to the famous Khao Kha Moo Chang Phueak. The stewed pork knuckle is served in a sweet sauce packed with accents Chinese five spices and served over rice.

The hard boiled egg on the side, with bits of pork, is always a good idea, and the raw garlic and chilies also added that extra kick of flavour.
